Our theme for Quilt Spectrum 2015 will be in keeping with President Mary Wilkins’ theme of “Boldly Going Where No Quilters Have Gone Before.”  It will be at the wonderful Central Catholic High School, 1201 Airport Road in Bloomington on Friday and Saturday, March 27th and 28th.   This year we want to show the multitude of styles and trends in quilt-making today, ranging from traditional to modern quilts.  Rhonda Byrd will be the featured artist, and the bed turning will be an exhibit of modern quilts showing us future trends in quilting.

Hours for the show are 10am – 6pm Friday and 10am – 4pm Saturday.  Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors (60+) and $4 for children (4 – 12).

The show flyer can be found here.

“Chain of Friendship,” the queen size 2015 raffle quilt was pieced by members of the Magic Needles small group and was both hand and machine quilted.

Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  The drawing will be held at 3pm on March 28th.
